Hamlin Knight is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established market leading company based in Oadby Leicester.

As Customer Service Advisor you will provide a first class level of customer service by processing and despatching orders in an efficient and effective manner and in accordance with the customer’s requirements, resolving all queries/questions to the customer’s satisfaction within the required time scale and building a good rapport with the customer base.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

*Handle customer contact via multi channels – phone, e-mail and social media.

*Process shipments to customers according to their requirements liaising with warehouse, purchasing and credit control as necessary.

*Satisfy customer requests to the highest standard and within required service levels.

*Respond to customers queries/questions promptly, resolving any service issues effectively and as quickly as possible to the satisfaction of the customer.

*Enter orders efficiently and with complete accuracy.

*Ensure accurate recording and logging of all customer contact, passing any relevant information/required follow up to the sales team.

*Work with all members of the sales team to open new accounts and develop existing customers in line with set procedures.

*Develop a working knowledge of the products to a level which enables advice and suggestions to be made to the customers.

*Provide support to the external sales team.

*Follow up promotional/sales opportunities by phone and e-mail in conjunction with marketing to help generate business.

Key Competencies/Education

*Customer services experience

*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail

*Ability to communicate effectively via multi-channels, telephone, email and website, with customers, demonstrating customer focus and empathy.

*Problem analysis and problem solving.

*Planning and organisation with the ability to prioritise.

*Ability to think flexibly and take initiative.

*Ability to remain calm under pressure.

*Friendly and tactful personality with the ability to show patience.

*A team player.

*Standard MS office skills with first class keyboard skills.

*SAGE Line 50 experience a benefit but not essential.

*Appropriate secondary level of education in English and Mathematics.

This temp position will be starting on 2nd Jan 2019 for a period of 2 months to be reviewed.
