We are creative in our approach to candidate sourcing, ensuring that we find the best people in the market for each role. Typically our approach includes:
Personal recommendation – Our candidates and clients are so pleased with the care and attention we give them, many of them tell their family, friends and colleagues about us – around 40% of our candidates are recommended to us by others.
Various Job Boards – We advertise roles on various job sites and boards and are constantly reviewing how effective this is. We use National, well known job sites as well as smaller, bespoke sites tailored to specific roles.
Dedicated open days – We regularly hold open days at our offices, with greatly extended opening hours, allowing candidates that are looking for work to pop in and see us either before or after work in order to make their lives easier.
Head Hunting/Social Media/Networking – Our consultants are all extremely knowledgeable in their field and can head hunt talent for you with confidence, where appropriate. We are constantly reviewing our approaches and ensure that we are as effective as possible, so consultants will network within various industry sectors and we use Social Media as a valuable tool in candidate sourcing.
As part of the comprehensive registration process at Hamlin Knight, candidates are asked to carry out a series of skills tests via our online system. These typically cover spelling, grammar, MS Office, data entry and typing skills; however, we can test on a wide range of skills from Purchase Ledger to language skills.
We are also more than happy to set up bespoke testing for our clients, enabling clients to specifically test skills that are unique to their individual requirements.
