Hamlin Knight are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Team Leader to work for a well establish company based in Coventry.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Managers this position requires operational experience, supervisory knowledge, line management skills, someone computer literate, a pragmatic approach and excellent problems solving abilities.
This will be working a 2 week shift pattern, Week 1 07.00am - 16.00pm, Week 2 13.00pm - 22.00pm all Monday - Friday.
Key job responsibilities,
Managing a shift of up to 25 people to include resource planning, recruitment activity, performance management and reviews, training and development, disciplinarians and dealing with employee relations issues.
Assess workloads co ordinate activity and redirect resource.
Working in a team of 3 to help deliver positive change and improvement through best practice standards, cost control and implementing new initiatives and excellent service.
The ideally candidate will have over 3 years of practical experience within a 24/7 warehouse operation and/or a time sensitive distribution environment.
You must have experience of manging a team of warehouse based employees, should be target driven, quality focused and demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety within the work place.
