Hamlin Knight aims to provide our clients with a recruitment service that makes their lives’ easier. Our service is tailored to your specific requirement. Our commitment to you is as follows:

1. Initial meeting

  • A specialist consultant will meet with you to discuss your requirements in detail. We can also see your working environment in order to understand your company culture
  • We will advise you on salaries, remuneration packages, the local employment market and on our process, which can be tailored to meet your specific needs

2. Position profile

  • We will create and agree with you a position profile to ensure we have fully understood your requirements. This document will also be used to properly brief candidates on the job

3. Sourcing candidates

  • We will use a range of techniques in order to find the suitable candidate for your job. This could include searching our pool of registered job-seekers, advertising the job in the press or on-line, liaising with other Hamlin Knight offices or referrals from our existing network       

4. Candidate interviews-Hamlin Knight

  • We always personally interview all prospective candidates
  • Candidates are seen by appointment only in private interview suites
  • Our interviewing is very thorough. We explore experience, skills, qualifications, personal motivators, ambitions and career goals

5. Presenting the shortlist

  • We present suitable candidates to you in a way that suits you best
  • Which ever decision you make, we will discuss the shortlist with you at length and answer any questions that you have

6. Client interviews

  • We arrange your interviews with your chosen candidates
  • We brief and de-brief the candidates before and after the interview
  • We manage the feedback from all interviews

7. Offer management & service evaluation

  • We tactfully handle unsuitable candidates and negotiate the terms of employment with your chosen candidate, ensuring a positive outcome
  • We act as your intermediary at all stages of the recruitment process
  • We will then keep in contact with you on a regular basis to ensure that their employment is working out successfully

8. Referencing

  • We always take a minimum of two recent references on candidates who may work for us in Temporary Assignments, or on a contract basis
  • For candidates seeking permanent work we are happy to take up references, depending on what you require as the client 

9. Confidentiality

  •  We ensure the strictest confidentiality at all stages of the process
